Tammi Terrell Dixon was born and raised in Alabama. After high school, she ventured out in search of her life’s purpose. She became a registered nurse and has been caring for those in need for over twenty years.
In January 2020, Tammi decided to try something new. She returned home and opened Her Timeout painting studio; a stress-free environment where adults could relax and release their artistic abilities by creating their own masterpieces while sipping on their favorite beverages.
Tammi had a plan and started her own business, but God had His plan.
Tammi would have been cancer-free for ten years in May 2020, but a month after opening her studio, she was told the cancer had returned. Shortly after the news, another tragic event would occur, COVID-19 pandemic. All of this was a strong blow to her world. And after much thought and prayer, Tammi decided that her health was most important and decided to close the painting studio.
Tammi has accomplished a lot of things, but she is most proud of her son, who is a Godly man, creating his own story.
Knowing who is in control of her life and guiding her along the journey, Tammi continues to look forward to the future endeavors that God has planned for her.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55: 8-9
